Hi, I'm Alessandra
I'm a designer based between Rome and Milan, available for freelance projects.
My path to design wasn't linear, and I think that's what makes my work interesting. I started with a scientific high school formation, then studied computer science before finding my real home in visual communication — graduating in Graphic Design and Art Direction at NABA Roma, with a specialization in Creative Direction. After graduating I stayed on as a teaching assistant and academic collaborator in the same department, which taught me a lot about how to talk about design, not just make it.
Most recently I completed a Master's degree in Digital and Interaction Design at Politecnico di Milano (110/110), where I deepened my focus on UX/UI, interaction systems, and the relationship between people and the digital spaces they inhabit.
I work across branding and visual identity, UX/UI design, social media design, interaction and installation, and creative direction. What connects all of it is a belief that good design should feel considered — never cold, never purely decorative, always in service of the person on the other side of the screen.
Outside of design, I'm a certified personal trainer and have been passionate about health, movement, and wellbeing for as long as I can remember. That world isn't separate from my design practice — it's part of why I'm drawn to working with wellness brands, fitness professionals, and health-focused products. I understand the culture from the inside, and I bring that with me.
